Add files to e-mail template was created by mrramgopal
I use Limesurvey Version 2.05+ Build 140217 . Hosted on GoDaddy. Linux. When I try to attach any file to the e-mail template , nothing happens. No error message. I tested on IE , Firefox and Chrome , all current. On Vista64.
Where could I be going wrong, and what is the fix please?
Thanks in advance.

There is a resolution closure in the bug-tracker.
bugs.limesurvey.org/view.php?id=8812
I understand that two file have been changed to do this.
application/controllers/admin/emailtemplates.php
application/views/admin/emailtemplates/emailtemplates_view.php
I tested this fix by copying the new files over the old ones. Now with the new php files in place , I am able to add files in the e-mail template. Thank you.
a) I find that there is some size limitation or a timeout somewhere as I have been able to add files of sizes upto 320 KB approx , but I cannot add 450 KB files. Any suggestions where to configure this would be much appreciated.
b) When is this likely to be published in a stable release?
Regards

Filenames with a space in it wont attach.
eg "my file.pdf" will not attach. Myfile.pdf" will get added. Tested by renaming the same file.

Hi,
I have the same problem now. My limesurvey version is 2.05, I have checked my files according to this issue : bugs.limesurvey.org/view.php?id=8812 and the code of my file is correct.
But it still don't work. I have no error on my apache log, no error in browser console.
I tried without accent, without space, without any special chars in my files names.
Is anyone have this problem to ? Is anyone have a good idea ?
Thanks all !
EDIT : In my database and if I try to add a file (1, 2, 3 or more), the table lime_surveys_languagesettings take this value : a:1:{s:10:"invitation";a:0:{}} every time.
When I delete all the files I have : a:0:{}.
Maybe a problem with de serialize functions ?! :S

Well,
We found the problem in my case. Our LimeSurvey instance is behind a reverse proxy and to make our URL working we changed the value of publicurl in config.php with the real URL of our DMZ. Comment this line resolve the problem.
This is because the value of the URL when adding a file must not be " domain.tld/ ...." but "/var/www/...."
Sorry for my bad english.
