Hey there!

I'm newbie with limesurvey, trying to settle my first questionnaire on this platform so sorry if question is silly :blush: Anyway, i couldn't find solution anywhere.
So the problem:
There is a mandatory question which is array (numbers) type with checkbox layout. Everything would be great, but if respondent misses one(or more) subquestions while answering, survey highlights ALL of the subquestions on y scale(pic added).

Anyone has an idea why? what to do/change so it would only highlight not answered subquestions?

Many thanks in advance!

That appears to be a bug. Please file a bug report and...
  1. Give as much information as possible.
  2. Provide step-by-step instructions how to reproduce the problem.
  3. Provide screenshots and/or a sample survey.
  4. Post the link to the bug here so we can follow the progress.

In the meantime, a workaround would be to add this to the end of template.js. It will remove the "errormandatory" class for any row that has at least one checked box.

$(document).ready(function(){

	$('.array-multi-flexi tr.checkbox-list .errormandatory').each(function(i) {
		if($(this).closest('tr.checkbox-list').find('input.checkbox:checked').length > 0) {
			$(this).removeClass('errormandatory');
		}
	});
});

.
Cheers,
Tony Partner

No,

Really no, but maybe it's just a forum topic ... I search too, don't find it.

Best is to make a new one.
