The check box is on a different row than the question's text.
See the .jpg for a screens hot. Any thoughts on how to get the check box to display on the same line as the answer. The multiple choice without comments looks just fine.

This is version 2.0 with the default template.
thanks as always - Nebraska.

You will have to have either a look into the template or the advanced settings of the respective question. I am sure there is a way to increase the space for the item label / answer.
Have a look at the manual! It is a really valuable source for information. Here some helpful links:

Or you can put this in bug report system.

I have the same exact thing happening when I look at my survey from Windows XP (Internet Explorer 8) and Windows 7 (Internet Explorer 8)

If I look at my survey from either OS and google chrome browser it looks correct.

Something to do with the template and needing to add html code for Internet Explorer 8 to be happy?

Try changing the template to something other than default. That seemed to fix my issue with Internet Explorer 8

I had the same problem and sorted it out by changing
width: 90%;
to
width: auto;
in the following piece of code of the template.css
.multiple-opt .survey-question-answer li label, .multiple-opt-comments .survey-question-answer li .option label {
  display: inline-block;
  width: 90%;
}
.multiple-opt .survey-question-answer li.other-item label, .multiple-opt-comments .survey-question-answer li.other-item .option label {
  width: auto;

I hope it also works for you ;)

BTW I'm working on Chrome.
