Hello -
I have created a label set that has negative numbers as the Code Value.
When I add this to my question and press Save Changes, the code values are saved without the negative sign.

Is there a way to save code values as negative numbers?

No,

Because code is used in Expression Manager (for example).

Don't use code to make calculation, you have assesment for that.

WHy did you want - ?

I want to use (-) because those values actually mean Refused or Don't know.
So what you are suggesting is that I put the negative values in the assessment column instead of the Code Column? Will the negative values be saved in the response table?

Hello,

There are no real reasin to use - . Take NOT1, NOT2 etc ... for example.

LS never make calculation with code. You can do it with value , it's easier (see Expression Manager).

I don't want to do a calucation. I am creating surveys for a study. The values that need to be saved in the response table needs to be either -1 or -2. Right now, I'm using N1 and N2 to signify this. When this data is extracted from the LS database, it has to be converted from N1 and N2 to -1 and -2. I want to be able to extract the data without having to do another step.
