Does anybody know the design intent of the "blacklist" property in the new Central Participants Database and how it works? The documentation doesn't have much to say about it.

Does it mean "global optout"? Is it just set manually using the form or is there some function to change it?

Anybody?? Maybe that field just put in by mistake

Thanks. There are a couple of different pages in the docs. The one with the discussion of the blacklist feature looks kind of old and half baked. There still developer notes about what they're planning to do and Codeigniter stuff.

There's a setting for "Allow participant to blacklist himself" -- would this be achieved through some kind of URL link?

Is all the functionality from those global settings actually implemented? Like automatically updating all the tokens for a participant when he blacklists himself or when the admin checks the box.

This is kind of a developer discussion, but I'm wondering if I should even try using or testing any of those settings in the 2.0 RC
