my client wants to add 2 questions side by side, meaning that they do not simply fall back into another table row.

is there a way to implement 2 queries in the same row?

please answer back if my question is not specific enough.

This is only possible with a quite complex CSS workaround, see docs.limesurvey.org/tiki-index.php?page=...stion_types_in_array

You may be able to do it with a few lines of JavaScript or CSS depending on the question type and template.

What template are you using and can you attach small survey with the questions?

If it is normal scales, you could try to have a look at the dual scale feature to see if this already meets your needs.
