hello,

my client wants to put a title seperate from the rest of the tables containing the questions from a survey.

here is a screen shot of what it looks like (attached)

my client asks for the label 'ACTIVITÉ No 1' to be seperate from the table.

thanks for your time.

Hey Thomas

You should be able to write HTML tags directly into the title field. So try appending something like:
<br /><span style="color:#FF0000; font-weight:bold;">ACTIVITÉ No 1</span>

If it doesn't show then you need to change a global setting to allow HTML tags in surveys.

Or before version 1.87 you can change a setting in the config file:
$filterxsshtml = false;

Hello,

how the title is shown depends on the design template you use for your survey. If you want to change where and how the title is displayed you can follow this steps:

1. Check what design template is used for your survey (Select the survey and see "Template:")
2. Click on the "Template editor" symbol (with the brush)
3. If you are using a standard template provided by LimeSurvey you have to copy it first. After you have finished this 6 steps you have to select the newly created design template for your survey (if not you won't see any changes at all)
4. Select the used (or in step 3 created) design template.
5. Select "Question page" in the "Screen" dropdown list.
6. Search for the element you want to change. I asume ACTIVITÉ No 1 is the name of the question group so it might be a html part with {GROUPNAME} in it in the file "startgroup.pstpl". If it is the name of your survey it is a html part with {GROUPNAME} in it, probably found in "startgroup.pstpl", "survey.pstpl" or "startpage.pstpl"
7. You can copy paste the html part to a place before the table starts (e.g. one line before something like <table class="group"> starts)
8. Save
9. If you created a new template in step 3 make sure you change the template used in your survey in the survey settings. Otherwise you won't see any differences.

Using an element within the title field in the survey settings isn't a good solution and even not a solution that changes the place of the title. And please, don't use a <style> element in the survey settings if it is not absolutly necessary, you can and should use the template.css file of your design template for styling your survey.
Mit freundlichen Grüßen/Best regards,
