Hello,

I am using Version 1.91+ Build 12416.

I searched the net, the Lime forums, and the docs but couldn't find the answer. I need to write two blocks of text side by side -in the invitation email. There will be contact information of two persons. Such as:
Project Contacts:

Carsten Schmitz 1Carsten Schmitz 2
LimeSurvey Project Team 1LimeSurvey Project Team 2
Berlin, GermanyKöln, Germany
email 1email 2
GSM 1GSM 2

So, how can I do this?

Thank you in advance for any help you can provide.

Hello,

Use a table:
<table>
<thead>
<tr><th colspan=2>Project Contacts: </th></tr>
</thead>
<tbody style="width:100%">
<tr><td style="with:50%">Carsten Schmitz 1 </td><td  style="with:50%">Carsten Schmitz 2 </td></tr>
....
</tbody>
</table>

With the HTML editor: you have to click on source.

Using the integrated editor you should be able to easily add a HTML table as Shnoulle suggested.

If you want to use the HTML source code provided above, you have to switch to the source code mode of the editor when adding the code: docs.limesurvey.org/First+login+-+Your+u...#X._Source_code_mode:

Thank you guys for the help.

I didn't know that we can use HTML code in the "Edit email templates" module.

About the source code issue there is a problem. There is no "source code" button in the "Edit email templates" module. There is only one button which says "Use Default."

Howe can I access that "integrated source code mode" ?

I can see the according icon, maybe you are using a different editor style setting (docs.limesurvey.org/First+login+-+Your+u...The_HTML_editor_mode):

Hello guys.

I have found why I can't see HTML editor.

In all LımeSurvey pages, there is a bar saying "Administration -- Logged in as:." In this bar, if you click on you user name, you reach to a place called "Your personal settings." Here, there is a setting called "HTML editor mode:." Options are available for pop up and inline editors. Mine was "Default" which doesn't have HTML editors. Images are below.

But there is a problem here!

I picked "Popup HTML editor" and used it for a while. But I saw that when I copy paste the source code of emails and welcome screen to another independent HTML file -and run it with Firefox, it doesn't look like as it is seen in Popup HTML editor.

Is that because I'm not using CSS files etc.?

If the difference is just about colors and font sizes or the lie and not text elements are missing, then it's probably because of the CSS.
