I want to give a client access to the statistics section of her survey.
Have added her as a user, using my email address to get the password so that I could check it before sending the link to her. Have limited her permissions to statistics.
The software says it will send a generated email to the address supplied but I don't think it does - I tried it 3 times and never received the password.
Any suggestions?

I have established that the email is generated if the email address use is not your own.
There is no need to reply to this query anymore - sorry.

Perhaps the post www.limesurvey.org/forum/can-i-do-this-w...istics?lang=en#72211 might also be interessting. I'll try to update the LimeSurvey documentation next week and add more information about user administration and permissions.

Is there no warning or hint that you are using your own email address? If not, please open a ticket at the bugtracker, this should be extended to at least show a meaningful warning.
