Hi

I have a survey running at www.barrett.com.au/php/survey/index.php?...11&newtest=Y&lang=en

It has 1 question only and it is a RANKING questionnaire (sales trends survey).

I was wondering whether it is possible to put a line break into a couple of the answers as they are rather long?

I have tried to include "<br/>" but they disappear. I tried to read the documentation and searched around a bit but I couldn't find any answers, but hey that does not mean there aren't any ... i might just use the wrong terms ;-)
I code, therefore I am.

Hello,

I also tried to do this but it seems HTML within the answer doesn't work at all. "<br/>", "<p>" or even "<b>" change nothing about the way the answer is displayed.
I'm not sure if it's even possible to format text using HTML within a <select>-Tag . Perhaps someone else can provide an answer to this or a possible solution/workaround.

Can have a look to this workaround:

Can have a look to this workaround:
Yeah, that workaround won't let you insert line breaks but you can define the list item widths which will force line breaks.

The ranking question type will be overworked for the Limesurvey 2.0 version. It will support drag and drop as described in the linked workaround and should be easier to style.
