Is there a way to make two of the possible responses in a multiple choice question exclusive? There are times when I have a "None" and "Don't know/Refused" response and it would be nice if there were a way to make them both exclusive. Thank you in advance for any help.

You can set more than one exclusive option in the advanced settings. Enter the sub-question codes separated by semicolons.

Hi, unfortunately in 1.92 RC3 the old syntax works only for one sub-question.

When I enter more than one sub-question in the advanced settings, I get syntax errors in the logic file (see attachment).

Does anyone know how to fix it?

The question type ist multiple choice with 9 subquestions (subquestion-code is 1-9). When I insert 7;8;9 in the exclusive option field, I get syntax errors in the survey logic file and all subquestions and checkboxes are hidden when I test the survey.

Hmmm...looks like a bug.

Please file a bug report and...

1. Give as much information as possible.

2. Provide step-by-step instructions how to reproduce the problem.

3. Provide screenshots and a sample survey.

4. Assign the bug to TMSWhite

5. Afterwards please post the link to the bugtracker here so we can follow the progress.

Yes, it is a missing feature. I didn't look as though more than one exclusive was really supported, so I left it out. Hopefully not too hard of a fix.

Problm fixed. The patch will be included at the next 1.92 RC4 version.
