It should be an option to turn on/off any specific questions in the survey. It would be nice.

Right now, if you want to add or delete a question, you have to deactivate the entire survey, losing all the data, or create another new survey.

Can't we just turn on/off a question? Especially when we want to do it temporary? That is, the survey should be able to hide/unhide a question.

It would make life more simple.
The administrator has disabled public write access.

That is already possible by using the question attribute "always hide this question" which should be available for nearly every question type: docs.limesurvey.org/tiki-index.php?page=...#General_description
