I'd like to suggest that the csv import be not dropped from the development of LimeSurvey. While developing a long survey it may be convenient to enter the questions in say an Open Office Calc spreadsheet, save as csv and import into Questions Group. Detailed formatting of each question could then be done in the dashboard but if all the answers are say "yes/no" not much more work would be needed.

BTW, can anyone confirm the structure of the Question's Group csv table?: qid,sid,gid,type,title,question,preg,help,other,mandatory,lid,question_order,language

The csv files use a predefined syntax which can easily be broken if the user edits the fie so that import fails.
The new .lss formnat is based on XML and therefore much easier to deal with.
