Hi, I've reported this on the bug tracker, but posting here as I could really do with quick tips on a fix or workaround.

A question appears fine in printable view, but has not been displayed on the on-line version of the questionnaire or in the results.

I've tried exporting an lss and re-importing, but the question doesn't appear on-line, questionnaire activated or not, despite appearing fine in the printable version.

I've got a few days and hopefully a few respondents left so I would be IMMENSELY grateful for a fast workaround/tip, if possible without having to deactivate as I'd lose people's part-completed responses, which I want to use as an excuse to chase people.

Any ideas pleease?

Did you use any conditions on this question?

I can't see what might be wrong. Did you try to delete the question and set it up from scratch?

Do you use some kind of additional CSS code in the template.css file of your template which might hide the question?

Thanks, excellent question. Just confirmed and there are no conditions (nor anywhere in the questionnaire), and when I click on the conditions icon for the question, it says "This question is always shown."

I just added the question manually and it does appear.

If you do find a fix that doesn't require deactivating, pls let me know either in a note on the bug or here. I'm keen to avoid deactivating because it would mean losing my part-completed answers, (a third of my total), which I hope to use as an excuse to chase people up. (Q1 is email address!)

As far as I can remember, I created the questions, then put them into sections, then re-ordered them, in case that helps identify where the error happened. I don't remember anything special about this question, and I've plenty other ranking questions working fine.

I'm happy to create the answer table column manually if anyone finds out what is missing about the question and it is fixable.

Apparently this is fixed in 1.90+.

Presumably as the answer columns haven't been created in my database, if I upgrade now the survey will break.

Did this also happen when you checked the questionnaire before the field start?

I believe so, although I didn't tick off the questions, I just ran through the questions to check validation, layout, save for later, etc - it didn't cross my mind that a question might be missing entirely.
