Hi,

In using this workaround: www.limesurvey.org/en/community-services...rs-in-dropdown-boxes .

How can I put a text instead of the 3 points in the empty answers?

Thank you!

Sorry, I don't understand the question. Can you explain more?

Cheers,

Which question type are you using there? I tested with "Array" and dropdown layout and for me it says "no answer" when nothing has been chosen.

Hi,

I´m using "Array" with the workaround indicated in my first question.

OK, but it is not a normal array question with the option dropdown. I assume the work around is mainly to bring more than one column of dropdowns into the array? (make it easy for us so we don't have to read all the other thread and guess, because I did read the other thread, but it wasn't clear what type of question is used in this workaround).

Because your link up there ( www.limesurvey.org/en/community-services...rs-in-dropdown-boxes ) references to another post ( www.limesurvey.org/en/forum/can-i-do-thi...rs-in-dropdown-boxes ) and this one to another post which gives me an error message ( www.limesurvey.org/en/forum/design-issue...nu-matrix-multi-flex ).

This doesn't really make it easy to help.

Sorry Holc,

Yes, the workaround is for having in an Array more than 2 columns:

<script type="text/javascript" charset="utf-8">

$(document).ready(function(){

$('#question1625 .answer_cell_00SQ001 option[value=1]').text('Text 1');
$('#question1625 .answer_cell_00SQ001 option[value=2]').text('Text 2');
$('#question1625 .answer_cell_00SQ001 option[value=3]').text('Text 3');
$('#question1625 .answer_cell_00SQ001 option[value=4]').text('Text 4');
$('#question1625 .answer_cell_00SQ001 option[value=5]').text('Text 5');

$('#question1625 .answer_cell_00SQ002 option[value=1]').text('Text 11');
$('#question1625 .answer_cell_00SQ002 option[value=2]').text('Text 12');
$('#question1625 .answer_cell_00SQ002 option[value=3]').text('Text 13');
$('#question1625 .answer_cell_00SQ002 option[value=4]').text('Text 14');
$('#question1625 .answer_cell_00SQ002 option[value=5]').text('').remove();

$('#question1625 .answer_cell_00SQ003 option[value=1]').text('Text 121');
$('#question1625 .answer_cell_00SQ003 option[value=2]').text('Text 122');
$('#question1625 .answer_cell_00SQ003 option[value=3]').text('Text 123');
$('#question1625 .answer_cell_00SQ003 option[value=4]').text('Text 124');
$('#question1625 .answer_cell_00SQ003 option[value=5]').text('').remove();

});

</script>

Thanks!
