Assessment results in reports was created by mrousdy
Hello,

I am newbie and using 2.05+ , I can get assessment results at the very last page of the survey, but it's not important to show participants their results, I want the assessment results to be reflected in statistics and reports.

How can I generate a report with assessments results?

Thank you!

Assessments are not recorded in the data. You will need to use Expression Manager to load Equation type questions with the "score" data.

9Thanks, but does this mean that I must change the current question type from "Array" to "equation"?

I am confused, could you please give me a URL to a tutorial?

Thanks

I've read the manual of EM and Assessments, but I didn't figure out what should I do with a "equation" question and where to put the equation syntax itself and how to get the result in a report.

The manual is not descriptive enough, so I hope you all could help me, I just want to use array questions and get their scores in a report.

Thanks

I am wondering if there is any specific reason why assessments are not saved in the results anyway...

I answer at the LimeSurvey forum in my spare time, I'm not a LimeSurvey GmbH employee.

Sorry holch, I don't have an answer for that.

After a little thought, given that you are more focused on the statistics view than on raw data, I would use numeric questions instead of equation questions. This would allow you to see the limited analytics in the statistics view.

- In the array question, use the "scores" as the x-axis answer codes
- In a group following the array group, add numeric questions for the "score" of each array sub-question.
- Hide all of these questions with the "Always hide this question" setting.
- Use Expression Manager to give these questions a default answer that records the "score" - something like this:
Code:
{array1_SQ001}

Here is a working sample survey.

I'd like to thank you, but it's a bit hard to apply, I have five arrays with five sub questions in each. Is it possible to guide to use equation questions? or any other simpler way.

Yes, it can be a good feature to have Equation question type somewhere in statictics ... :).

I couldn't get any data out of equation questions, so I am following your method, but I need to sum all answers for sub-questions of an array in a single numerical question.

Could you please guide me through?

Thank you, but this gives me an overall score and average for all responses, I need this to be per response.
