Hi,
I don't get how "testing" a survey works :
- I have sent invitations to "testers" but they don't have permissions (survey is not active yet)
- If I activate it, I won't be able to add new questions (or I'll need to duplicate the survey with VV-Export/VV-Import)
- How can I test the results counting, statistics, the way anonymized votes works, etc. ?

Ideally, I would like to :
- activate the survey
- collect data
- check everything works ok
- deactivate it by removing the stats and be able to add questions, sub-questions, etc.

Is this possible ? Thanks,

You can only collect test data if the survey is activated but you can deactivate/activate whenever you need to make changes. Note that any collected data will be lost if you make changes.

Thanks a lot. This is not very clear either from the online manual or from the warning message that appears when you click "activate survey" : it looks like once it's activated, it's like frozen forever.

Thanks for your help and nice work.

Woops, I did not notice that, thanks for the tip.

Added the following paragraph (in english and french) :
*If you deactivate (not expire) the survey, it will move the responses to a backup table and lose participation informations but you will again be able to add new questions and groups and to modify parameters.
