Re-Import an Excel Export was created by baxter
Hi,
i created two identical surveys with limesurvey (One in english, one in german). Now i want to merge the answers into one "List". I exported both results to excel and merged them into one list.
Now my question: Is it possible to re-import these new List? I did not find out how to do.
If it is not possible, it would be great if you can give me another solution (tool, or something else) to evaluate the results.
thank you

For data analysis using LS features:
You can use vv.csv files export/import features
1) Export english + german results (vv.csv files)
/!\ Backup those 2 files in case of....
2) Open english one (with text editor not as spreadsheet) and add responses related lines from german file (don't touch the 2 first lines with the columns IDs)
3) If your survey is off, desactive it; A backup answer table will be created to restore those results if further need...
4) Import your "composite" vv file to your english version survey

This might not work if you are not using the exact same question, answer and subquestion codes.
In this case SPSS should offer features to merge such data files.

Yes, i found that out, thanks.
But after i corrected the codes, everything was fine. Import after editing (as i expected) did not work. To solve this i did a new, "clean" vv-export, pasted my edited list in this new created file (deleted the new exported data out of it before), saved it and imported this one. Works perfectly.
Thanks for your help guys.
