TOPIC: 9-point likert scale presented as a slider

9-point likert scale presented as a slider 2 years 7 months ago #76649

Hi,

I want to create a scale like the one in the attached image.
I checked the manual and forum but couldn't find anything.
I did find the array-slider thing, but I want this to be a simple likert scale with two headlines ("No Anxiety" at one end and "Extreme Anxiety" at the other end).

Is this possible?
Thanks!
David

You can do that with a multi-numeric question using the left and right text settings.

So the advanced settings for the question would look something like:

And the sub-question would look like (assuming you only want one sub-question and no row label):

And the result:

Oh, one more question: how do I make the scale appear in the center of the screen? I tried centering the question, but that only worked for the question itself, not the scale.
Thanks!

"And the sub-question would look like (assuming you only want one sub-question and no row label".......What if I want to use a row label? I'm using a 9-point scale with several subquestions and would want to label both sides of each slider with "Strongly Disagree|Strongly Agree". Is that possible?
Greetz,

Hello:
Your Label|Strongly Disagree|Strongly Agree

in subquestions.

See the documentation : docs.limesurvey.org/Advanced+question+se...vey#slider_separator
