Hi!

I want to use a filter to only show in Q2 the options selected in Q1. However, I wanted Q2 to be an hierarchical question and it only allows me to do that with multiple options questions, lists and some arrays (the collumn array would be useful, but it also doesn't have the option.

Is it possible?
Thanks

Nevermind, I found a workaround and will try to make it work! :)

I couldn't make it work. I tried to use this workaround:

<script type="text/javascript" charset="utf-8">

$(document).ready(function() {

rankFilter(ID:4931, ID:4984);
});

</script>

When I try to preview the group, it flashes this error:

Message: Expected ')'
Line: 770
Char: 16
Code: 0

And again, I found out what was wrong. Tpartner's explanations in one of theses threads were great. Thanks!

Yes, I will certainly make a donation when I finish this survey building odissey.

Now that I solved my initial problem, another has emerged: my initial multiple options question has 52 items, from which I ask people to chose a maximum of 10. But then, on the ranking question, the box on the left has the size to fit 52 items, when I only need 10. It occupies too much space and it's not very practical. Is there a way to reduce the size of the box?

Thanks

I think it should be doable by using some Javascript or CSS.

Please create a separate topic for this.

Add something like the following to the end of template.css. Replace "QQ" with the ranking question ID and adjust the height as required.
#questionQQ select {
   height: 185px;
}
