Hey guys,

Is it possible to change the answer to a question on a previous page? I read the manual and attempted something like this:

$('#answer15459X1X1').val("new answer");

but it does not work if the question is on a different page. Is there another way to change the answer of Limesurvey questions besides the .val() method?

LimeSurvey 1.91+ only lets you change values for variables that are set on the current page. There is a filter that specifies which values can be changed, so even if you tried, your change would not get stored in the database.

LimeSurvey 1.92 will support changing answers from prior pages, but it is still in development. Some relevant documentation is here.
