Hi all,

I created 8 different question groups; each group consists of 4 questions. Now I want to create my survey, but I want a fixed order of questions:

question 1 = first question of the first question group
question 2 = first question of the second question group
question 3 = first question of the third question group
...
question 9 = second question of the first question group
question 10 = second question of the second question group
...

Does anyone know if this is possible? I need the different question groups for educational purposes: I want to avoid that the user has to fill in the questions per group.

Thanks in advance for all your feedback!

If the is no randomizing needed I wonder why you don't enter the questions in the fixed order. The questions groups are only used to define which questions are displayed at once if you use the presentation format "Group by Group".

So why aren't you moving all first questions in the first group and so on?

Hi,
Thanks for your ideas. I already thought this option through. But this won't work: at the end, I want to calculate the score per category (= per question group), but I don't think that's possible when I separate the questions of every group...

You mean the assessment scores? I don't use the analytic tools of Limesurvey. To analyze the data I export the results and use e.g SPSS.

SPSS or R are typical export formats of Limesurvey.

Perhaps a simple R Script can do the trickfor you. Check out the GUIs for R.

Or try to import the SPSS data into PSPP
