Hi,

Kindly help me out?
My requirement is that:-
I want to start a dealer survey, I want that a dealer should register and then access the survey and that a dealer should do the survey once.
We have to track his single participation, (he can participate with different emails also).
Can we somehow control him with his IP address.
please guide , if any other option is there.

Hi,
have you considered using tokens?
More about tokens
You have to know the email in advance to send tokens but this is the best option to have survey completed only once by a user.

thanks for the quick response!!!

Ya I am using tokens with public registration.
But if the same dealer registers with his other email id then he will manage to do more than one survey which we have to control.

if we will send invites thru tokens then everything is fine but if the link has to be opened from some other website then it can be a issue

I have found the way, as soon as i click the survey URL it ask me the token.
this is achieved
can I explicitly send the token to the user rather than sending it with the URL

I am affraid there is no option to allow single response from single IP.

But you can register dealer's IP using Save IP address option in Survey Settings and when processing results delete repeating responses. (Actually it may be better option than displaying information 'There is already a response from this IP' because anyone trying to cheat will not be informed about means you use to make responses unique)

Yes, you should be able to send them the token. When they access the survey (without the token appended to the URL) they will be taken to a form where they can enter the token.

Thank you,

But my question was not the answer u gave me.

We send mails to users regarding the invites of the survey.
I wanted that the token should be send via mail , seperately.

In the current situation the token is attached via url !!!

I got the solution .
I added {TOKEN } in the mail body part and now the token is added in the mail explicitly.

Thanks a lot!!!!!!!!!
