I need to post an id number into a text field of an answer. They have a few dozen different applications (ie photoshop, acrobat) that they want to send the vendors surveys about their compatibility with our systems. They do not want to compile a tokens list and do not want to make vendors type in which application they are taking the survey for. So I was trying to see if their was a way to post data right into the answer field using a get or creating a page that posts this data right to LimeSurvey.

You can pass data into the survey with the URL - docs.limesurvey.org/Workarounds%3A+Surve...using_the_survey_URL.
