Just put together a couple of complex surveys using the Limespired theme and have found that the [Previous] button seems to behave erratic (or so it seems anyway). it basically seems that for some questions it will jump right back to the start of the survey instead of the actual previously answered question.

Is this behavior correct? Does the [Previous] button indeed not work correctly when there is conditional logic involved?

I've tried searching the topic, but have not found anything.

Any help appreciated (using 1.91RC6 btw).

Thanks in advance

Try updating to the stable 1.91 release - www.limesurvey.org/en/download.

Thanks for the suggestion Tony. I've installed 1.91 and although it seems to work better, it still doesn't work correctly. It will step back correctly over say the last three questions, but then all of a sudden jump back to the start.

I think I have to assume at this point that the [Previous] button logic does not work correctly in versions 1.91 and up anyway.

Regards

Hey Tony,

Are you positive that the 1.91 is stable? There is a little confusion in the forum. There was no official announcement of a stable release 1.91, but on Sourceforge it is marked stable.

But on the chat someone told me that it is not.

At the moment I really don't know what is going on.

Holch, yup, 1.91 was released as stable 2 weeks ago.

novascape, I suspect the behaviour is a result of your conditions, not the "[Previous] button logic", which has not been changed.

If you are convinced there is a problem please file a bug report and...

1. Give as much information as possible.

2. Provide step-by-step instructions how to reproduce the problem.

3. If possible/helpful please provide screenshots.

4. Afterwards please post the link to the bugtracker here so we can follow the progress.
Cheers,
Tony Partner

Thanks Tony for letting me know. Now at least I can be sure that the 1.91 branch is released as stable.
