Works easy here. Maybe it is a memory problem?
Have a look at the manual! It is a really valuable source for information. Here some helpful links:

I have 128M allocated to PHP for LimeSurvey -- should that be sufficient?

I guess that should be sufficient. What size does the survey have? I tested it with a fairly small survey with only a few questions, but it worked like a charm and it looked good. Have to see how to style those questions though. Because my slider questions don't have any scale attached, etc. But I guess Slider layout isn't the best for a paper survey anyway... ;-)

Slider is a vas (visual analog scale) question in paper surveys. The quexml can handle that, but not yet from limesurvey. It is just a matter of editing the xml file so in time that will be possible with the export from within limesurvey. There are some other issues with labels, but I think those will be addressed soon as the pdf generator is a whole new thing for quexml.

Hello everybody. I currently try to create paper based surveys created in limesurvey and later analyzed by it aswell.
That is how far I got:
- exported the xml file to quexml
- created the pdf with the bar on top (via surveys.acspri.org.au/quexmltools/quexml2pdfquexf.php )
- filled in this pdf and scanned it
- imported the original pdf with xml banner infos via http://localhost/forbidden/quexf/admin/?page=new.php

What do I have to do next?
I then tried to export the not verified data, got a xls file and tried to read it in in limesurvey as VV. Limesurvey told me it was successfull but it did not import any answers :(
Unfortunatelly I do not see what would be the next step to be successful (also quexf.sourceforge.net/node/16 doesnt help).

Can someone please provide me with some input?
Is it actually possible to import these obtained data in limesurvey?

Thanks a lot
Cheers Sebastian

I have not worked with queXML before so I can't help much. Strange thing is that Limesurvey doesn't complain when trying to import the data. Please test import again and switch on debug mode by adding the following line to your config.php file:
$debug = '1';

Are there any additional errors reported on top of the page?

Added the debug mode. But no additional information were shown :(
You think it is rather a problem of my limesurvey or am I still on the wrong path importing those filled in pdfs?

Thanks for helping

Please open a bug report at our bugtracker so our developers can take a look:
  1. Give as much information as possible
  2. Attach your survey. You can mark your ticket "private" so that only the developers will be able to take a look at it.
  3. Provide step-by-step instructions how to reproduce the problem.
  4. If possible/helpful please provide screenshots

Afterwards please post the link to the bugtracker so we can follow the progress.

Thanks!
