here is another tricky feature demand. I am wondering, if it's possible to add a checkbox form for a newsletter subscription on the last question group page, after the last question-element. this should be a checkbox, which interested survey paticipants can check, before they finish and sent.

I am thinking about to ways.

1.) Pasting the subscription code into the template -> question.pstl ->Where to put?
2.) To use one of the existing question type, (duplicate and extend the code as far, it works like a checkbox, but where everyone can paste it's own subbscription form snippet). ->How deep do i have to change the limesurvey code?

Workarounds are also welcome.

Your first solution won't work because when adding forms to a template the results won't be saved.

Why don't you simply add a checkbox question with just one option at the very end?
