Hi,

you can add the University of Poitiers, France, and especially the IAE (embedded School of Management) to your list. We use Limesurvey for courses evaluation, surveys of alumnii, student works, research programs ... And we usually really appreciate it, although the very last build causes me some problems at the moment !

We are using Lime here at LeTourneau University in Longview, TX for quality assessments and other various surveying needs. We're currently writing software that will make use of the Lime Survey Remote Control to automate end-of-course surveys. If it works well there's potential that many other types of surveys can be automated resulting in a lot of saved time and resources.

Hi,

I should add that Ajou University, South Korea is also using Limesurvey for to conduct both survey and experimental research. It has saved countless hours of coding pen and paper responses and has also proved to be extremely reliable (in fact, I can't remember it being unreliable at all).

Well, I may add the University of Bayreuth, Germany to the list. At the moment I know of three units working with LS.
The chair I am working for uses LS heavily for research and course evaluation. We do so since version 0.98 and have always been very glad with the capabilities of LS and the more then helpful community.

Ciao

Hi,

We are using Limesurvey since this year at the Catholic University Leuven,Belgium . It's both being used by students and researchers. We now have about 60 users registered about 30 surveys in development en 30 active surveys.

Things we work on:
. buffering mails from Limesurvey and spreading the distribution in time to prevent peak load as much as possible.
. thinking about a way to organise labelsets so that users a bit more

I'll also hope to contribute an "Export To SAS" module in the near future since most of our researchers use SPSS or SAS (or R).

Cheers,
Jan.

Hello world,

Just my two cents to say that Avignon University ( www.univ-avignon.fr )in South East of France is using Limesurvey too. Limesurvey is becoming the default software for surveys when few years ago students had to deal with Sphinx. University's IT is proposing pre installed instances of Limesurvey and I'm training students of Master 2 in International Commerce to Limesurvey (theory and practice).
Reasons for using such tool :
- powerful and easy to use software,
- Free (as in free speech) Software philosophy,
- Free (as in free beer) Software which is very convenient for students
- huge range of questions,
- theme creation,
- etc...etc...

May the Lime be with You

We are using LimeSurvey at the University of Kentucky in Lexington, Kentucky, USA.

I work in a research department and we are using LimeSurvey to gather data from all over Kentucky. I have found it to be invaluable.

I figure the only reason someone would use another survey tool is because they haven't yet heard about LimeSurvey!

Hi,

I can add the Catholic University of Louvain at Louvain-la-Neuve (Belgium) to the list. They used to have their own survey tool but recently decided to switch to (the much better) Limesurvey. A very good idea in my opinion!

Cheers,
urangel
