Hi

We have a question that is mandatory in our survey, but one of the subquestions can be left blank if the user choose to. Is it possible to do this with some validation rule for that specific subquestion?

Just add a Yes/No qyestion with:
I don't want to andwser to next question (Yes/No/no answer)

And use conditions to hide the question.

You cannot place conditions on array sub-questions.

A possible solution would be to:
- add a "N/A" answer too the array
- hide the "No Answer" column with CSS/JavaScript
- use JavaScript to initially check "No Answer" in the "optional" row
