Hi!

I have queFX setup to do paper surveys, and that's working great. My question is how do you import those results into LimeSurvey? What format do I export them in queFX?

There is a method in queXF called "queXS and Limesurvey integration" in the Administration section which uses the remote control feature of Limesurvey (XMLRPC) to import records. I haven't tested this with Limesurvey 2.0 though (only tested using queXS) so I'd be interested to hear how you go.

Here is what I found on the topic in a forum:

"Currently the RPC link will only work with a queXS installation (that
has a modified version of Limesurvey in it) therefore it won't work
with the limesurvey hosted service. You can have a look at the queXS
limesurvey code though if you would like to backport the change to
your own Limesurvey installation. Once the new version of Limesurvey
has the XMLRPC system implemented I'll make sure they work nicely
together."

You might ask if it goes ahead as planned...RPC seems to be implemented now in limesurvey. Would appreciate if you reported back here, if you hear something...

oh, sorry, mixed up quexf and quexf.
I tried with quexf but could not get it to work. If I try to upload, I get an error message: "XML RPC Error: Calling parameters do not match signature".

If anyone know how this would work....

Thanks for the responses. I haven't had time to try what was said, but if it doesn't work, I'll probably just end up importing the file through MySQL. For now, I've been stuck trying to upgrade to 2.x and the paper surveys thing has been put on the backburner.

There is a new thread on the topic in the queXF forum with a potential solution.
