Hello all,

i'm looking for single email generation with 10 tokens for a manager.
This manager will give token to his team randomly.

A solution could consist in token generation with X tokens but sending email is a bit difficult with generic email access without token.

Is it possible to generate email with X differents tokens to the same email adress ?

The final goal is to fill questionary without authentication and user traceability (custom user token will fill their email address and will not be anonymous anymore :( )

Thank you in advance :)

generation multiple token for one email adress is not working.

But you can rise up the number of token usage to 10000. Have a look into the token edit form.

If you don't need the tokens to be sent by Limesurvey, you can generate tokens with dummy emails. You can generate as many as you want in a CSV file and upload them.

You can pass them via a normal email to the manager.

Thank you ResearchOnBlog, i already use token generation with manager email who generate as many token than i want.

Thank you Holch, but finally, for a normal user the link without any token can be found anywhere ?
I tried different limesurvey parameters but all these codes have the token in it.

the two solutions are finally the same, then no integrated solution are present. I need then the link to the survey without token :)

Thank you in advance.

Hi fla16660,
I don't think that our solutions are "finally the same". holch suggest to create tokens with x dummy email adresses, and I suggest to create one token with x-time usage.

I think your goal was to have a closed survey? And you don't want to user the email function. Right?

Cheers Kai

token usage to 10000 ... i misunderstood your response you're right.

I know than this solution works but manager doesn't want it...

But i'm agree with you, it seems to be the better solution.

thank you.

You can create the links with the imported token codes by "hand".

Take the first part of the survey link up to the token and and put it in Excel in the first column. Copy it down for as many lines as you need. Then copy the tokens in the second column and in the third column you create a formula in excel that joins both text and voila, you have your link for each participant that the manager can distribute.

I have written something about this in the manual a while ago. It is for 1.9 and I haven't tested it for 2.0, but it should not differ much. Maybe the first part of the URL might have changed with the structural change from 1.9 to 2.0. Not 100% sure here, but it should be easy to change.

Should it be different for LS 2.0, please add the solution for 2.0 to my text in the wiki (everyone can work on this), and mark my solution for 1.9.

And here comes the link:
docs.limesurvey.org/Tokens&structure=Eng...de_the_token_already
