We use many similar surveys in LimeSurvey for various customers.
To be able to distinguish the type of survey I manipulate the survey ID. I.e. all type A surveys have ID 10XXX, all type B surveys 20XXX etc.

To do this I export the survey, change the ID numbers in the file and then import it again. However this is a bit of work and I would like to have this done directly in LimeSurvey.

Is there a possibility (planned) to do this or is there someone who can build this into LimeSurvey for us for a reasonable fee?

Why not use subdomain for each client and different DB ?

It's very clean for each client.

We can't do this because we need to recognize the survey-links and data (which we import into Excel with a DB connector) by the Survey ID
