Apologies if this question is in the wrong category.

I've just created my first "File upload" question, and it's not working properly. When I view the question in a browser, I get the following appearing on the page as a link:
"Upload files".

When I click on this, I'm shown a box to browse my files and choose what I want to upload. Once I've picked what I want to upload, I get shown the following at the top of the box:
"The file has been successfully uploaded. If you wish, you may upload 12 more file(s); else you may return back to survey."

As I don't want to upload more files, I click on the "return back to survey" link.

Nothing on the question page changes - so I click on "Submit", and I get an error message saying that the question is mandatory (which it is) - but if the popup box said the file upload was successful, I shouldn't be shown this?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Which Limesurvey version do you use?

At some older versions there has been a bug with the file upload question type, so please update to the latest version.

The version number on the interface is: 1.92+(120919)

I've just run the "3-Click ComfortUpdate", and run the survey again - but the question type is still not working. I'm assuming this is because it's not version 2.0?

So, I've upgraded to this, and not after uploading a file, I can't return to the survey. So the question type is still not working.

Please attach your survey for testing.

If not : upload files question type don't really upload files.

That survey works as expected for me in 1.92 and 2.0, using the default template.

Have you tested with the default or another shipped template?

Are you seeing any JavaScript errors when using your template (HousingHeroesAwards)?

I'm using a template that I created - this was needed as there are other products of the company that have different branding. Having said hat, I've only changed the CSS and a few elements in the "screen" options.

I've not tested this using the default template - but there aren't any JavaScript issues.

UPDATE - I've just tested this using the "default" template, and I still get stuck on the upload screen. After selecting the file, I can't return to the survey - I still can't actually upload any files.
