I am a "newbie" to LimeSurvey, using version 1.53+. I have created a survey and have 117 invited participants. There have been 33 responses so far. I tried to view the statistics of the responses received so far. When I click on the pie chart icon ("getting statistic from these responses" the following text/code is displayed:

"Warning: require_once(/home1/madwesto/public_html/survey/src/jpgraph.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home1/madwesto/public_html/survey/admin/statistics.php on line 27

Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required '/home1/madwesto/public_html/survey/src/jpgraph.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php' in /home1/madwesto/public_html/survey/admin/statistics.php on line 27"

Can anyone give me a tip what is wrong, and what I need to do to fix?

Hi, your version is rather old - plz upgrade to the latest version - v1.71+
An upgrade is safe, even if you have an active or running survey.

Your error message looks like you have a problem with your JPGraph installation.
# is it installed?
# is it installed correctly? Check the JPGraph in config.php
Does the set directory correctly lead to jpgraph.php?

I have downloaded the most current release (1.71) from your website. I am in the process of uploading to my host server, in the same directory that version 1.53+ is located, Before I do this, is there any safeguards I should do to protect my active survey from becoming corupted?

Just follow the upgrade instructions given in the release notes of the downloaded package (can be found in docsrelease_notes_and_upgrade_instructions.txt or here
