My survey question is simple, however, I can't find the way to insert it on my LimeSurvey:

It's a competition, judges are asked to score the performance of people in the contest, using numbers from 0 to 7:


Persons name... ----Test1-----Test2----Test3
Person 1 ......... __ * ________ *_______ *_
Person 2 ......... __ * ________ *_______ *_
Person 3......... __ * ________ *_______ *_
....

=(*) drop-down list of numbers from 0 to 7.

Judge would choose a number in the drop-down list. Alternatively, the judge could type a number,instead. I would rather use the drop-down list, since the only valid choices are the numbers 0,1,2,3,4,5,6 and 7.

Hi, Could you perhaps use an array type question, but you would have to have a separate question for each test.

Thanks for replying to my post. I don't think that an array would help, since I would like to assess the score of each person simultaneously.

Here we are talking about a papers. There are several students and, therefore, several papers. The judge/teacher will have to evaluate the paper, scoring a 0 to 5 in, at least, 3 features. The final score would be the sum of the 3 features.

Example:A paper about history. The paper would be evaluated in 3 points:
Grammar;
accuracy;
Quoted Sources.

Maximum score: 15

I would rather send the survey int this fashion:

I could send a survey asking the judges to evaluate each paper in a separate question, but, if there is 100 papers, there would be a hundred questions. My design would save time and the survey would be more user friendly.

Unfortunetaly this question type isn't supported yet. Right now we are working on the brand new Limesurvey 2.0 release. There is a "Ideas & Request" wiki page where you can add your LimeSurvey 2.0 wishes.
