Hi everybody,

I used limesurvey1.70+ and it worked fine.
I try to install limesurvey2.0 but I can't.

I have windows XP Pro and EasyPHP up to date.
I followed exactly the steps of the installation guide (docs.limesurvey.org/tiki-index.php?page=...vey+2.x+Installation) but when I point the browser to the root directory (localhost/limesurvey20/app/index.php), the installer doesn't start up and I have this error message :
"Notice (8): Undefined variable: javascript [APPviewslayoutsdefault.ctp, line 11]


Fatal error: Call to a member function link() on a non-object in C:Program FilesEasyPHP 2.0b1wwwlimesurvey20appviewslayoutsdefault.ctp on line 11 "

I don't understand because I had no difficulties to install the 1.70+

No support will be given at this point in time for installation of the LimeSurvey 2 development version.

As stated in the manual: LS2 ist still in development and by far not even in beta state. The source code changes daily.

We can't give support yet, sorry!

Assuming all the setup is was done correctly you should just be able to point your browser at: localhost/limesurvey20.

Also Be sure to delete your app/config/database.php file which will prompt the installation wizard to start.

Mazi, is correct in saying that LS2 is not supported, it is still an early alpha and is not close to being full featured.

Even if I try to go directly to localhost/limesurvey20 it doesn't work because it is looking for the file index.php

So nobody already tried limesurvey 2.0 ? It is not possible yet ?

Do you know when a release will be available ?

Beta 1 is scheduled for 9.Jul.08 (the alpha 2 release next week is still young).
