gah. how stupid am I.

ok, ran in debug mode and uploaded csv survey created in 1.5.

Same thing - I get the 'success' page, but the survey isn't listed or accessible. No error messages appeared.

I've attached one of the surveys I have that won't upload, if that's of any help. It's a csv file - I just changed the extension to txt to enable upload.
Thanks

Do you have a general problem importing surveys or only with this survey?

I have NO problems importing your attached survey on my installation.

hmm. That does suggest a problem of some sort with my installation. I can upload a survey that I downloaded from 1.7, but none of the surveys I have that were created in 1.5 will appear, even though I get the successful upload page.

Which build of 1.70+ do you use?
If not the latest ==> Upgrade
If notice is reproduceable on the latest build ==> Open a new bugreport

ok. You must have uploaded the new build the day after I downloaded and installed my version of 1.7, given that I downloaded about 3 days ago!

Anyway, you're right, I downloaded the latest build and all my problems have been solved.

What can I say. I continue to be impressed.

I have, or rather, my company has (ask Carsten).

and, following advice on your website, I've just contacted 'rent-a-coder' as I need a dual array question where the second array is a check box.

If you or anyone working directly on limesurvey want to bid for the job please do - I'm happy to pay for the development and have the question-type added in to limesurvey if it's a style others are interested in.

regards
Paul

Hi Paul,
thanks a lot for your support (donation)!

Developing/editing a question type is very hard because lots of changes have to be done in several source code files. There are probabvly only very few people (c_schmitz, lemeur, jcleeland, ...) who are able to do this.

If your coder succeeds to implement this feature it would be great if you could share your solution with the community. Please contact c_schmitz regarding the edit.
