I am using LimeSurvey version 1.70+ (4629). Few hours ago, I discovered that some text field values of a survey weren't saved into the database.

This problem appears when you are typing a response in a text field and you use the autocomplete function (provided by your browser). After that, the text field gets the value you have just selected using the autocomplete function. When you save the response into the database, the value of the text field is lost.

How can I solve this problem?

In bug 1315 c_schmitz explained that it is a browser problem, not LimeSurvey's.
