Hi!
Actually this is a funny story. I am not an English native speaker and I wanted to have a name that is easy to remember and sounded tasty/refreshing without being too much food.
Additionally the name had to be free from any trademarks.
So I really looked back and forth and thought I had found the greatest name:
LemonSurvey
(or so i thought).
I wasn't exactly sure about this and in the general talk on our IRC channel I mentioned that I wanted to rename PHPSurveyor to LemonSurvey.
This time a native English speaker messaged me and told me that LemonSurvey isn't such a great idea as a "Lemon Car" is a car with constant failures. (In Germany we call this a 'Monday Car' as the tale is that such a car was built on a Monday in the factory where the workers did alot of partying on the weekend and then went back to work and so such a car they are building is far from perfect).
In desperate search for a name and with a Caipirinha sitting in front of me (ok that part is made up) and a little research I eventually decided on LimeSurvey.
