[done] Welcome and de-briefing pages 3 Months, 2 Weeks ago Karma: 0
At the moment there is only one welcome page....

Is it possible to have multiple welcome pages so
the first page can be assigned to inform the participant of
what the survey is about and if they are eligible.

Is it also possible to have a checkbox at bottom saying something like :
"If you have read this page and meet the criteria for participation, please tick check box and click ACCEPT button to begin".

Something like you get for a licensing agreement and you must tick
the checkbox before it will allow you to continue to next stage.

The second page can be used to inform them about the questions, important survey information before survey starts.

The debriefing page displayed after survey is competed can be used to again thanking them, more information about
how survey is done etc and offer a link to second survey for entry of personal details for any competitions.

Our university research requires a welcome page, information page and debriefing page before survey can be ok’ed by our ethics committee.

Currently I can only do this via HTML except for the welcome page

For an example see link:

db.psyc.canterbury.ac.nz/surveytest/

Thanks

Hi Dart,

You could do all the validation and terms acceptance before the user gets to the survey. Set up a page (perhaps using Javascript) to validate acceptance and on submit direct them to your survey.

Within Limesurvey you can use 'boilerplate' question types which allow you to effectively add pages into your survey to give information and instructions.

Finally, within the survey set-up process you will specify a URL to go to when the survey is complete - this can be your 'de-briefing page'

Hope this helps

As said before, use boilerplate questions to show text to the user.

You can set up a licence agreement by using an array question with just one item ("I agree". Make this question mandatory and if you have a second item ("I don't agree" you can use conditions.

Don't worry all is very appreacated. We've already spoke about a donation in a meeting last week.

I got the hang of the user managment stuff which is pretty cool.
Only real problem I've encouted was the text editing sometimes deletes text when using the tools like bold etc. Also WYSIWYG doesn't quite apply until you view the actual survey.

Great work though!!

Thanks
