Hi LimeSurvey Support Team,

My requirement is related to security.

We run a non-anonymous survey within our organization and realize that some staffs forward their email invitation to someone else and that someone else can simply click on the link with the token attached to it and carry out the survey.

Because of this, we are looking for ways around this. We are thinking of authenticating the respondent against our Active Directory prior to allowing him to see the survey.

Is this feature available in LimeSurvey Version 1.70?

If not, are there any scripts out there which can help me around this?

Please upgrade to the latest release. Version 1.70 is rather old.

Check config-defaults.php. There are some settings about LDAP and Webserver Authentification. Maybe this is what you are looking for.

Sorry, on my knowledge it's only possible to import a list of tokens via LDAP; but no direct Webserver Authentification.

Thanks for your prompt reply. I have just upgraded to 1.71 while waiting for a reply.

I have checked in LS documentation about settings for LDAP but that is only for getting tokens by querying using LDAP query. This is a neat feature but not what I'm trying to achieve.

Basically I just need the respondent to be prompted for authentication against AD before he can proceed to do a survey. Do you know if this feature is available in LS v2?

LS2 will have more authentification functions but I think AD is not on the list yet.

Can you help us developing AD authentification for LS2?

For now, I will need to try develop some sort of authentication with AD so that it's more secure. But not sure if this is possible, will try my best.

Where can I download LS V2?

LS2 is still in an early stage of development. That's why we are searching for people who help us developing LS2 to a stable stage and add features like AD authentification.
