I've read through the forums, and have seen this posted before, but not for the same reasons.
I'm getting the Security Alert: Someone may be trying to use your LimeSurvey session (CSRF attack suspected). If you just clicked on a malicious link, please report this to your system administrator. message when trying to create a new user across a VPN.
I'm currently using LimeSurvey Version 1.71+ (5246) on an Apache 2 web server (XAMPP).
Any idea what might be causing this issue?
Thank you,
Philippe

Don't worry. This is just an integrated security mechanism. For more information about this check "Security Alert Message ".

I understand that it is an integrated security mechanism. But would there be a way around this, so that I can remotely manage the surveys, create users, etc?
Thank you.
