[done] welcome page displays html tags 3 Months, 3 Weeks ago Karma: 0
http://www.ais.vi...urvey/index.php?sid=47292&lang=en

in v1.5 I had no problem - the html shows correctly. Now, the tags are visible and the text is in one block. How can I resolve this issue?

Using 1.7, firefox and explorer.

thanks
Paul

I've attached an image.

Any suggestions as to what change in 1.7 may be causing this would be useful.

thanks
Paul

ok, I got the image small enough, but can't edit this again. so no image attached. sorry.

ok, I've figured out a workaround. I downloaded this survey and opened it as a csv file in notepad, and opened a previous (1.5) survey the same way, and compared them.

What's happening is that any html code I write in the 'welcome' box is being translated to "& l t ; br & g t ; " which of course means that the welcome page is showing < br > instead of recognising it as html. So I can re-write that in the csv, upload it and presto! It works.

Question is, what is causing that to happen when I save what I write in the 'welcome' box? This happens in both firefox and explorer, though firefox has an anoying habit of adding a < br > in any box I leave blank as well (such as the 'description' box).

Is this something to do with my setup or have others experienced this in 1.7?

Thanks
Paul

ok - ElMatador69 told me to upload the latest build of 1.7 in another post (which I thought I had, but I was wrong...)

The latest build has resolved this issue, so this thread can be closed.
