I've seen other survey/question software that allows for a points system to be allocated per question.

Sometimes questions need to be weighted on their importance.

Hi Akky,

I do not really get, what you are referring to.

Weighting is a dangerous thing. I would use weighting of results only in very few occations, if any.

If you weight results, I think this should be done in the software you are using for analysis. The integrated analysis tools of of online survey tools can't really do that.

But maybe I got you wrong and you mean something else by weighting.

Very true about the analysis software, maybe attaching points would be too much trouble.

But what could be interesting is a question type were 2 scales can be applied. One for the rating, one for the importance. Something like that:

How do you assess the following aspects? How important are they?

Assessment| Rating
Item 1 O O O O O | O O O O O

As this question type is supported by LS1.x since release 1.71 I guess that it will be supported at LS2, too. But please keep in mind that this question type isn't easy to implement. Therefore it might not be within the first LS2 release.
