Greetings,
I downloaded the latest sources for LimeSurvey 2 and tried to install it (in a full Windows environment with a SQL Server 2005 database). Unfortunately, there is no option in the installation wizard for SQL Server.
Do you plan to add it in the future?
FYI, I'm currently testing version 1.71+ that works without problem in that setup.

Limesurvey 2 uses the CakePHP framework. Take a look at cakephp.org. If this framework support SQL Server 2005 Database, which I think they do, then Limesurvey 2 will be able to handle this database type, too.
Please keep in mind that we just released a beta which is not supporting every database yet.
