Hi
I am a bit confused if limesurvey can have its users authenticated from LDAP server or not.

The documentation at http://docs.limes...org/tiki-index.php?page=LDAP+Settings says that "it may be extended in the future to add support for LDAP authentication".. so I am confused....

If it doesn't then, what this documentation is for ??? I am confused...

your hints/suggestions will be highly appreciated.

In LS v1.x you can only import a list of users via LDAP and send invitation emails with a (personal) link to your survey to them.
LS v2 will be different

In that case, it means that LSv1.x cannot authenticate users via LDAP..am i correct ?

LS v2 will be different....

Can you please elaborate in what should we expect on LS V2 with LDAP? We would like LDAP authentication, and saving a survey with LDAP credentials so people taking the survey don't have to assign a name and password when saving. Thanks for any info
