Hi All...

Once upon a time I was a almost decent Unix admin, but skills have left me and two small kids limit the time I have to reconquer lost memories.

I need to try out the LimeSurvey solution for a customer project, I'd like to present it as a possible solution for my customer. I have downloaded a VMware LAMP server from somewhere, installed Limesurvey 1.71+, and I almost got it working, I am stuck at changing the admin password: "You are still using the default password".

I have tried to edit the config.php file but it doesn't seem to make any difference.

But I can spend no more time of this now. I wonder... does anybody have a VMware image of a working linux LAMP server with a usable 1.xx installation of Limesurvey? I would be much obliged for a FTP url somewhere..

Why don't you change the password?

If you use the latest 1.71+, there is a layout error on some browsers and you have to scroll to the right site see all of the menus.

It WAS working, it was just a browser f-kup! I didn't see that scrollbar.
