hi all!!!
am very much new to lime-survey and phps
all i need is how to install lime-survey on windows xp sp 3 runnin IIS6.0
i have SQL 2005 server express INSTALLED TOO
can any1 be helpful here in this regards

Should be all you need ... just make sure all your setting are correct in config to connect to your local machine and database

You have to install a local server to run limesurvey. There is a package which contains everything you need. Check www.apachefriends.org

Hi, the link I gave you is a comprehensive run through of the installation. Take your time to go through everything carefully. If you have things missing or are unsure of database / Web server setting and technologies, it may be you need to spend some time familiarising yourself with those first, to ensure you have everything in place. But I wouldn't have thought this is the forum for those other questions. The best way to learn, in my experience is to dive in and get your hands dirty

hi first have a look at "XAMPP" which is the server on which limesurvey will run.

small free software to play with as a webserver then u might try IIS after having mastered the basic .....thx to open source .

do yr research and go for it AND look at the documentation as recommended by the admin here (very helpful)
