So, I'm wsa thinking of using LimeSurvey for my exampaper at the university and was just wondering if it really can work the way I want it too...

So, the setup that Im aiming for is that I send a invitations e-mail to a bunch of teachers that answer the questions.

Question 2 will be "Are you a teacher or a studen" and from here it splits up in 2 different trees, one for teachers and one for students!

Is there anyway that I can track what students belongs to what teacher, by using some kind of password or anything like that?

Hope you understand what I want to do, and I really hope that there is a nice, simple solution here!

If you have a list of teachers just use a single choice question at the students' tree and ask them "Who is your teacher". This way you can filter answers by this question later on.

ah ok, so there is no way of adding a hierchy to the responses.

I havnt read the doc's all that much yet but is there a way that each teacher can get a code to access the survey and that gets saved with the answers, if thats the case he/she could give the same code to the students. Since I already have a question with teacher/student it would be rather easy to see the linking!

you could set up a survey as administrator and start it.
Than add a Usergroup with all students and the teacher in it. Everyone with no right for nothing. Add this usergroup to the survey allowing them to just see the results...

Depending on the number of teachers you can think about having a single survey for each teacher. You can easily copy surveys using export - import.
