Hi all.
This is my first post on this forum.
We've been using Limesurvey a few times and I have to say this is a GREAT piece of software! Thanks to all the team!
I have a problem though that I can't figure out how to solve, even after reading the manual and searching the forums.
I have a mandatory question that could be solved using the 10 point choice array type.
The problem is that users should not be forced to fill in an option for all of the answers but just for one to consider the question answered.
Suppose I have three answers to rate 1-10.
If a user checks 5 for answer A, the question should be considered answered even if the answers B and C remain blank.
I was thinking to make this with a little bit of javascript but I really don't know where to start from, as I don't know what file I should modify.
Any help appreciated.

Sorry, this isn't possible yet. You have to split up your questions.

Thanks for the answer, but I don't see the point in splitting up the question; this wouldn't solve my problem: which question should I then make mandatory?

Sorry.
I managed to solve my problem.
I made a Multiple Options mandatory question providing the three answers A - B - C.
Then I made other three mandatory 10 point choice questions, one for each answer to the first question, conditioned by the answers checked in the first question.
